Welcome to

BRYHER

EAT | SLEEP | EXPLORE

Just one and a half miles long by half a mile wide with a coastline that is remarkably varied,
Bryher is the smallest inhabited island on the Isles of Scilly.

An incredibly friendly welcome awaits you from the island’s 83 permanent residents.  This hardworking community offers visitors a wonderful shop, pub, cafe, fresh seafood, fresh farm produce, watersports, an award winning hotel, a campsite along with a wonderful selection of high quality self catered accommodation.  What more do you need?!

Bryher coastline is remarkably varied…the East coast looks over the sheltered waters of the channel between Bryher and neighbouring Tresco, while the rugged west coast faces the full force of the open Atlantic Ocean making Hell Bay the perfect place for storm watching on a blustery day.

The island’s roads are little more than tracks – you can follow the coastal path around the varied shore visiting the gorgeous beaches including Rushy Bay which is a must with fine sparkly white sand and crystal clear water.  You can also take a hike up one of the hills to enjoy amazing panoramic views across Scilly and out to Bishop Rock Lighthouse.
