Out & About

Bryher is a rugged island with dirt tracks serving as the main route round much of the island. The coastline is varied from dramatic cliff tops to golden sands. Take a stroll to the northern shores and you will find the rugged rocks of Shipman’s Head (the place to be in high seas to guarantee dramatic wave watching!) The waves of heath afford ideal spots for relaxing with a picnic. To the south, the coastline is sheltered by the nearby islands of Tresco and Samson. The best beaches are to be found here and the fine white sands of Rushy Bay are ideal for days spent sunbathing, beachcombing and swimming.
